  3. H5N1 Strain New to Africa; Second-Generation Zanamivir Effective with Single Dose (08-18-2008)

    Biosecurity Briefing: The UN FAO reported H5N1 in Nigeria due to strain that is genetically different from strains in previous outbreaks in Africa. Also, Biota Holdings Limited issued a press release on second-generation of the antiviral drug zanamavir.
